Independence Day
We the Indians celebrate Independence
Day with great enthusiasm and devout feelings on 15th August, the most glorious
day in the annals of Indian history. We have gathered in the school ground in
presence of our chief guest honourable …………………., our Principal Sir …………………, our
well-wishers, all the staff members, parents and students to mark the 75th year
of independence from the British rule. A very pleasant, jubilant and exuberant
morning to one and all present here.

you,
Ask what you can do for your country”
A true patriot is ever ready to do
anything for his country. Today we remember such martyrs, such patriots who
shed their sweat and blood for our country to infuse a sense of patriotism
among all the countrymen.
On this special occasion, let’s begin
the programme with flag hoisting followed by National Anthem. I request our
Chief Guest Mr. ……………. and our Principal ………….., to unfurl the tricolour. I also
request everyone to stand in attention for the National Anthem.

Best way to pay tribute to our martyrs
and patriots is to know them well, follow their footsteps and enact them.
Now, let’s witness our KG kids brimming
with immense enthusiasm as they parade themselves dressed up as great revolutionaries such
as Bhagat Singh, Rani Laxmi bai, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Mahatma Gandhi, Jawahar
Lal Nehru and Subhash Chandra Bose.

No nation is perfect, it needs to be
made perfect. Independence Day is such a big moment for all Indians to
celebrate our freedom, give tribute to all the martyrs and great leaders of the
country and think how we can contribute to the development of our country.
One of our friends is here with us to
recall the contribution and sacrifices of great leaders. I would like to

Now no more delay, as nothing can stop
the excited young pupils from displaying their love for the nation. They are dressed
up in traditional outfits and colourful costumes depicting rich culture and
heritage, traditional variety and unique diversity of India through a vibrant
dance performance.

I’m sure everyone wished to get up from
their seats and dance. Please motivate our young dancers with a thunderous
applause.
Yesterday we witnessed how the students
participated in various competitions such as flag making, poem composition, T-
shirt painting and rangoli making. Now it’s time to award the winners of these
competitions. I request our Chief Guest…………….. to come upon the stage and
felicitate the winners.

Yoga has always been associated with
peaceful and harmonious tradition of our country to build a strong physical,
mental and spiritual health system within us. So, with a pledge to make a
change within us and make habit of practicing yoga daily the students of
classes 6 to 8 are waiting with an energetic yoga performance.

Now, it’s time for the most awaited part
of the program, musical extravaganza which is not only fun but will also convey
beautiful message to the audience, instill patriotic sentiments among young
Indians and pay tribute to the martyrs.

Our nation is like a tree of which the
original trunk is Swaraj and the branches are Swadeshi and Make in India.
Let us come together and march a step
forward for a better and progressive country, let's respect and follow the
constitution of free India with pride and honour.
With this we close the curtains of the
program. I would express my sincere thanks to our chief Guest, our Principal,
guests and audience for being a part of this programme and show gratitude
towards our nation. I join my hands and thank my teachers who prepared the
participants for the lovely program at the end I would like to thank all the
participants for putting their heart and soul to present a magnificent show.
